The cheapest advertised WordPress hosting in the UAE market today is HostCry at AED 5/month on a three-year term, but the lowest advertised price is rarely the lowest real cost. Once renewal rates, VAT and term length are counted, entry plans that stay honest land between USD 4 and USD 9 per month. This comparison shows both numbers side by side.
Last updated: 23 September 2026. All competitor prices were read from each provider’s own public pricing page on 23 September 2026 and are linked to their source. Disclosure: this page is published by BIGBANG ITS FZE, a UAE company that sells the BIGBANG ITS hosting plans listed below. We have tried to describe every other provider accurately and to name what they do better than us.
What is the best WordPress hosting in the UAE in 2026?
There is no single winner, because the providers in this market are not competing on the same thing. AEserver competes on UAE data residency, MilesWeb and Hostinger on the headline entry price, Kinsta and WP Engine on managed-platform engineering, and BIGBANG ITS on a price locked for 36 months plus regional support. The right answer depends on which of those four you actually need.
A useful way to decide is to rank your constraints in this order:
- Data residency. If a contract, a regulator or a client requires your data to sit physically in the UAE, that single requirement eliminates most of the list before price matters at all.
- Two-year cost, not first-year cost. Several entry plans in this market are sold at an introductory rate on a 36- or 48-month prepayment and renew at three to six times that rate.
- Resources per site. 10 GB of storage with 1 site allowed is a very different product from 60 GB with NVMe and a caching layer, even when the monthly figures look similar.
- Who answers when it breaks, in what language, and in which time zone.
WordPress hosting in the UAE compared (prices as of 2026-09-23)
Every row below is the provider’s cheapest WordPress-specific plan, or its nearest shared-hosting equivalent where the provider does not sell a separate WordPress product. Rows are ordered from cheapest advertised price to most expensive. AED figures are converted at the pegged rate of AED 3.6725 to the US dollar for comparison only.

How we compared, and what we could not verify
Every figure above was read on 23 September 2026 from the provider’s own public page, linked in the first column. Where a provider does not publish something, the table says “not published” rather than estimating it. Three things are worth flagging honestly:
- AEserver, GoDaddy UAE and HostCry do not publish a renewal price. They show a struck-through “regular” rate next to the promotional one. That regular rate may or may not be what you are charged at renewal, and we are not going to present it as if it were.
- AEserver’s prices are quoted excluding UAE VAT, stated in its own site footer. Most other providers on this list quote VAT-inclusive or VAT-neutral USD figures, so a straight column comparison slightly flatters AEserver.
- Hostinger’s and GoDaddy’s UAE pages are bot-blocked and had to be read in a browser. If you are checking our numbers, open them yourself rather than with a script.
Is BIGBANG ITS cheaper than AEserver?
On the advertised entry price, no. AEserver’s WP Essentials at AED 19/month is roughly USD 5.17 against our USD 5.99 for WP Start. On what you actually get and what you pay in year two, the comparison changes:
- AEserver’s AED 19 requires 36-month billing and excludes UAE VAT. At 5% VAT the effective figure is about AED 19.95, or roughly USD 5.43.
- AEserver’s entry plan gives 10 GB of storage. Our WP Start gives 60 GB of NVMe storage and 2 GB of RAM at USD 5.99 with no minimum term.
- Our price is locked for 36 months, and we give you 30 days’ notice before any increase. There is no introductory rate to renew away from, which you can check yourself in the BIGBANG ITS store.
Where AEserver is genuinely stronger: it offers a selectable Dubai data centre on the plan itself, it is TDRA-accredited with a published UAE licence number and TRN, and it has a UAE toll-free support line with dirham pricing by default. (We accept dirhams too, through our currency switcher; our default display is simply in US dollars.) If UAE data residency is a requirement rather than a preference, that is a real advantage and we will say so.
BIGBANG ITS vs MilesWeb UAE: which is better value after renewal?
MilesWeb’s .ae site is the most transparent entry price on this list: USD 1.99/month on a 36-month term, renewing at a published USD 3.99/month. That renewal figure is stated on the card, which is more than most of this market does.
The trade-off is disclosed just as plainly on the same card: every MilesWeb plan states “US server location.” For a UAE audience that is a real latency and, depending on your sector, a real compliance consideration. You are buying a US-hosted site with a .ae marketing wrapper.
Practically: if budget is the binding constraint and your visitors are global, MilesWeb at USD 3.99 renewal is hard to argue with. If your visitors are in the Gulf and you want 60 GB and LiteSpeed rather than 10 GB, our WP Start at USD 5.99 flat is the better shape of deal.
Hostinger vs BIGBANG ITS for a UAE business site
Hostinger’s UAE page advertises USD 1.49/month — the second-lowest number in this comparison — but the fine print on the same page reads: “Get 48 months for US$71.52 (regular price US$479.52). Renews at US$8.99/mo.”
That is the single most important sentence on this page. The advertised rate requires a four-year prepayment, and the ongoing rate is six times the advertised one and 50% more than our flat rate. Over a five-year horizon, a plan at USD 1.49 for 48 months then USD 8.99 costs about USD 179, against USD 359 for five years of WP Start at USD 5.99 — so Hostinger still wins on pure cost over that window, but with far less storage, a four-year lock-in and no stated regional data centre.
Where Hostinger is genuinely stronger: scale, tooling maturity, a large template and AI site-builder ecosystem, and a 24/7 support organisation far larger than ours.
Do you actually need a UAE data centre for WordPress?
Often, no. For a brochure site, a corporate site or a typical WooCommerce store serving Gulf customers, the round-trip difference between a well-cached European or Dubai-hosted WordPress site is usually smaller than the difference a caching layer and a CDN make. Correct caching beats geography for most WordPress workloads.
You do need UAE hosting when one of these is true:
- A contract, tender or regulator requires data residency inside the UAE.
- You handle personal or health data under a policy that names the jurisdiction.
- You are running something genuinely latency-sensitive — a real-time dashboard, a booking engine, a VoIP-adjacent web app.
If that is you, the honest options on this list are AEserver (selectable Dubai), Kinsta (its docs list a Dubai region, me-dubai-1) and Buzinessware — and us: our servers are available in Dubai, Europe, the USA and India, so tell us which location you need and we will quote it. For UAE-resident workloads we would move you to a dedicated or cloud server rather than sell you the wrong shared plan — see our cloud versus dedicated server cost guide.
Managed WordPress like Kinsta and WP Engine versus UAE shared hosting
Kinsta and WP Engine sit in a different category and a different price bracket: both start around USD 35/month for a single site with roughly 10 GB of storage. You are not paying for disk. You are paying for a platform team, staging environments, engineered caching, and support staffed by people who debug WordPress for a living.
| Question | Shared WordPress (AEserver, MilesWeb, BIGBANG ITS) | Managed platform (Kinsta, WP Engine) |
|---|---|---|
| Entry cost per site | USD 1.49–5.99/month | USD 28–35/month |
| Storage at entry | 5–60 GB | 10 GB |
| Traffic model | Unmetered bandwidth, resource limits per account | Metered visits/bandwidth, overage charges |
| Staging environments | Plan-dependent | Standard |
| Best for | Brochure sites, SMEs, agencies on a budget | Revenue-critical sites, complex builds, agencies billing for uptime |

If your site is the business — not a shopfront for the business — the managed tier is usually worth the multiple. If it is a shopfront, it very often is not.
What the headline price hides: renewal, VAT and term length
This is where most WordPress hosting comparisons for the UAE quietly mislead. Three mechanics do almost all of the work:
- Term length. The advertised monthly figure is frequently the 36- or 48-month rate. The one-month and twelve-month rates are often not shown at all.
- Renewal step-up. Where it is published, the step-up ranges from 2x (MilesWeb: 1.99 → 3.99) to about 6x (Hostinger: 1.49 → 8.99).
- VAT. UAE VAT at 5% applies to locally billed services. AEserver states its prices exclude it.
Here is the same market ranked by published ongoing price rather than advertised price — the number you pay from year two or three onward. Cheapest first; providers who do not publish a renewal rate are listed at the bottom as unknown, not as cheap.
| Provider | Published ongoing price | Advertised entry price | Step-up |
|---|---|---|---|
| MilesWeb UAE | USD 3.99/mo | USD 1.99/mo | 2.0x |
| BIGBANG ITS — WP Start | USD 5.99/mo | USD 5.99/mo | None |
| Hostinger | USD 8.99/mo | USD 1.49/mo | 6.0x |
| Buzinessware | USD 9.00/mo | USD 5.00/mo | 1.8x |
| Kinsta | USD 35/mo | USD 35/mo (first month free) | None |
| WP Engine | USD 35/mo | USD 28/mo first year | 1.25x |
| AEserver | Not published | AED 19.00/mo, VAT excluded | Unknown |
| GoDaddy UAE | Not published | AED 11.00/mo | Unknown |
| HostCry | Not published | AED 5.00/mo | Unknown |

Where BIGBANG ITS is not the right choice
We would rather lose a sale than place you badly. Choose someone else when:
- You want UAE data residency picked from a menu on the plan card. AEserver sells it that way; with us a Dubai location is arranged on request, so ask before you order.
- Your budget genuinely caps at USD 2–4 per month. MilesWeb’s published USD 3.99 renewal is below our entry price.
- Your site is revenue-critical and you want a platform team on call. Kinsta and WP Engine are engineered for exactly that and we are not going to pretend a shared plan is equivalent.
- You need per-visit traffic guarantees and staging as standard. That is the managed tier’s model, not ours.
We are the right choice when you want a price locked for 36 months, with 30 days’ notice before any change, generous NVMe storage relative to the price, a UAE-registered company to invoice and escalate to, and one supplier who can also handle your phone system, domains and business email. If you are weighing the phone side too, see our companion comparison, 3CX versus traditional and cloud phone systems in the UAE.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cheapest WordPress hosting in the UAE?
As of 23 September 2026, the lowest advertised figure is HostCry’s Starter plan at AED 5.00 per month on a three-year term, followed by Hostinger at USD 1.49 per month on a 48-month prepayment. Neither is the cheapest to own: HostCry does not publish a renewal price and Hostinger’s published renewal is USD 8.99 per month.
Which WordPress hosting providers have a data centre in the UAE?
Of the providers compared here, AEserver offers a selectable “UAE – Dubai” server location on its plan page, Kinsta’s documentation lists a Dubai region called me-dubai-1, and Buzinessware offers a Dubai regional option. MilesWeb states “US server location” on every plan card. Hostinger, GoDaddy UAE, HostCry and WP Engine do not state a UAE location.
Does WordPress hosting price include VAT in the UAE?
It depends on the provider. AEserver’s site footer states that all prices are UAE VAT exclusive, so 5% is added at checkout. Providers billing in US dollars from outside the UAE generally quote a VAT-neutral figure. Always check the checkout total, not the card, before comparing two providers.
Is managed WordPress hosting worth it for a small UAE business?
Usually not at the Kinsta or WP Engine price point, which starts around USD 35 per month per site. A small business site is typically better served by a good shared WordPress plan with LiteSpeed caching, off-site backups and real support, at roughly a sixth of the cost. Move up when downtime starts costing you more per hour than the plan costs per month.
How much storage does a WordPress site actually need?
A typical brochure or corporate WordPress site uses 2–8 GB including media and backups. A WooCommerce store with a large catalogue and product photography commonly reaches 15–40 GB. That is why a 10 GB entry plan is adequate for a brochure site but tight for a store, and why our WP Start includes 60 GB.
Can I move my existing WordPress site without downtime?
Yes. Migration is included free on every BIGBANG ITS WordPress plan. The standard sequence is to copy the site, test it on a temporary address, lower the DNS TTL, then switch the records — which keeps visible downtime to the DNS propagation window rather than the copy itself.
What is the difference between WordPress hosting and normal web hosting?
WordPress hosting is ordinary web hosting tuned for one application: PHP and caching settings matched to WordPress, one-click installs, WordPress-aware security rules and, usually, automatic core updates. We cover the distinction in detail in what is WordPress hosting vs web hosting.
How often should this comparison be re-checked?
Quarterly at minimum. Hosting promotions in this market change monthly, and three of the nine providers here do not publish renewal rates at all, so their real cost can move without any visible announcement. This page carries the date it was verified for exactly that reason.
