You run a company in Sharjah: a factory in one of the industrial areas, a trading office, a training institute near University City, or a startup in one of the emirate’s free zones. The website is on a hosting plan someone set up years ago, the email still runs on the hosting server, and the phone system is a desk phone with a single 06 number that nobody can answer from outside the office. You want a provider who can sit with you at your desk in Sharjah, not a chat window in another time zone. This page explains how we do that from our headquarters at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park.
Quick Answer
BIGBANG ITS provides web hosting, business email and 3CX phone systems to Sharjah companies from our headquarters at SRTIP, with office visits Saturday to Thursday, 09:00–18:00, and 24/7 support in Arabic and English. Hosting runs on cPanel with LiteSpeed, and Sharjah businesses that want their data in the country can pick a plan served from our Dubai data centre. Email is Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or Zoho with migration included. 3CX connects to your existing Sharjah 06 numbers through the UAE’s licensed operators and we add a UAE 800 toll-free number. Prices show in AED on the portal and are locked for 36 months.
How We Serve Sharjah
Where we are. Our head office is inside the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, the free zone and innovation park next to University City that offers company set-up, a prototyping centre, accelerators and an angel network to startups and SMEs (SRTIP website). Our branch in Business Bay, Dubai, covers the other side of the Al Ittihad Road traffic.
Office visits. Sharjah clients can book a meeting at SRTIP, or ask us to come to their premises, Saturday to Thursday between 09:00 and 18:00 Gulf time. For an industrial-area factory this usually means a visit to see the server room and the wiring before we recommend anything; for a trading office it is usually a one-hour sit-down to go through the domain, the email and the phone bill.
Remote first, on site when it matters. Hosting, email and 3CX are all managed from our systems, so almost every ticket is solved remotely, in Arabic or English, around the clock. The on-site visits are for the things that need a person in the room: a phone cut-over, a new internet line, a server move, or a signature on a telecom form. Our landline is +971 4 378 2255 and WhatsApp is +1 667 222 1616.
Which Sharjah sectors we see most. Manufacturing and trading companies in the industrial areas, education providers around University City, and free-zone startups, many of them our neighbours at SRTIP. Each of those has a different mix of needs, which is why the next three sections are split by sector rather than by product.
Web Hosting for Sharjah Businesses
All our Linux plans run on cPanel, with LiteSpeed and server-level caching, daily backups and Imunify360 malware scanning. The choice a Sharjah company has to make is not the control panel; it is where the server sits and how much of it they need.
Dubai data centre or Europe. Our Dubai Hosting plans are served from a data centre in Dubai, a short drive from Sharjah, and our standard plans are served from Europe. The practical difference is round-trip time for visitors inside the UAE and where the data physically lives. The UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, sets requirements for the cross-border transfer of personal data (u.ae data protection laws), so a Sharjah business that stores customer records on its website, or that has a government or semi-government client asking where the data is, picks Dubai. A brochure site for a trading company with customers abroad is usually fine in Europe. We explain the options in our article on Dubai data centre servers.
Which plan for which sector. The table is what we actually recommend when a Sharjah company calls, not a feature matrix.
| Sharjah business | What it usually needs | Plan we recommend | Where it runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manufacturer in an industrial area | Product catalogue, Arabic and English, enquiry forms, an ERP or portal on a separate server | WordPress hosting for the site, managed VPS for the portal | Dubai for the portal, Dubai or Europe for the site |
| Trading company | Company site, many mailboxes, occasional price-list PDFs | Shared hosting plus separate business email | Europe unless a client requires UAE |
| School, institute or training centre | Admissions pages, registration forms with student data, a learning portal | WordPress hosting for the site, managed VPS for the portal | Dubai |
| Free-zone startup | Landing page now, an application later, staging environments | WordPress hosting now, VPS when the application ships | Europe to start, Dubai when UAE clients ask |
Email off the hosting server. The single most common problem we find at Sharjah companies is email running on the same cPanel account as the website. One hacked contact form and the whole domain lands on a blocklist. We move email to a dedicated service first, then deal with the site.
Business Email in Sharjah
Three platforms, one answer per company. We provide and manage business email on Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and Zoho. The pattern in Sharjah is clear: manufacturers and traders that live in Excel and already have Windows desktops go to Microsoft 365; schools and startups that work in the browser go to Google Workspace, whose plans are priced per user per month and include pooled storage per user (Google Workspace pricing); small trading offices that want a low per-mailbox cost and are not tied to either ecosystem go to Zoho. We will tell you which one fits before you buy, not after.
Migration is included. The Sharjah mailboxes we move usually come from cPanel email or an old Exchange server in the office. Our email migration service copies the mail, contacts and calendars, switches the MX records at an agreed hour, usually a Thursday evening so the team arrives on Saturday to a working inbox, and keeps the old server readable for a few weeks in case anything was missed.
SPF, DKIM and DMARC on day one. A Sharjah trading company sends quotations and invoices to buyers abroad, and those buyers’ mail servers check the sender’s DNS records before accepting anything. We publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC for every domain we migrate, and we check the website’s contact form, the accounting software and the 3CX voicemail-to-email all send through the same authenticated path. Our guide to SPF, DKIM and DMARC explains what each record does.
3CX Phone System in Sharjah
Local 06 numbers through licensed operators. Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain share the 06 area code, and UAE toll-free numbers begin with 800 (UAE numbering plan). VoIP is a regulated telecommunications service in the UAE and may only be provided by licensees (TDRA FAQ on VoIP). In practice this means your Sharjah 06 number stays with the licensed operator that issued it, and we connect that operator’s SIP trunk to your 3CX phone system. We provide UAE 800 toll-free numbers ourselves, and we can supply numbers in other countries after a legal-document review, which matters to Sharjah exporters who want a local number in Riyadh, Cairo or London.
SIP trunk set-up is where the work is. 3CX supports SIP trunks from telecom providers as the way to connect the system to the public network (3CX SIP trunk documentation), but the operator’s form, the registration details and the outbound caller ID rules each take a round of back-and-forth. As a 3CX official partner we handle licensing, hosting, the trunk configuration and the number paperwork; the client signs the operator’s form and we do the rest. Our guide to UAE business phone numbers covers the number types in detail.
On-premises or cloud. A factory in an industrial area with an existing server room, a stable fibre line and a wish to keep call recordings on site can run 3CX on premises. A trading office with staff who travel, or a startup with no server room at all, runs 3CX in our cloud and uses the mobile app, so the 06 number rings in the warehouse, the showroom and the sales manager’s car at the same time. Either way the system is the same and we can move between them later.
What a Typical Sharjah Setup Looks Like
A trading company in an industrial area. Arabic and English company site on shared hosting in Europe, because its buyers are abroad. Email was on the hosting server; we moved the mailboxes to Microsoft 365 over a weekend, published SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and the bounced quotations stopped. The office’s 06 number was on a single desk phone; we connected the operator’s SIP trunk to a cloud 3CX, added an 800 number for buyers calling from inside the UAE, and gave the sales team the mobile app. The whole change took two visits to the office: one to assess, one on cut-over day.
A training institute near University City. Registration forms collect student names, Emirates ID numbers and parents’ phone numbers, so the site and its database sit on Dubai Hosting and the registration portal sits on a managed VPS in the UAE. Staff and instructors are on Google Workspace, which the institute chose for shared calendars and Classroom. 3CX runs in the cloud with a queue for admissions calls during the enrolment season and the mobile app for instructors between campuses. We visit at the start of each academic year to review storage, users and call queues before enrolment opens.
Neither scenario names a client, and neither quotes a figure. Both are the shape of what we set up in Sharjah week after week.
Prices and Billing
AED on the portal. The portal shows prices in AED and can switch to USD, SAR, EGP, EUR or GBP from the currency selector, so a Sharjah company with a parent in Saudi Arabia or Egypt can see the same plan in its own currency. We accept all currencies. The current price of each plan is on the portal: web hosting, managed business email and cloud PBX.
Locked for 36 months. The price you sign at stays fixed for 36 months, and we give 30 days’ notice before any increase after that. We commit to 99.99% uptime, and selected services carry a partial refund if you cancel.
One invoice, one contact. Hosting, email and 3CX appear on one portal account, with one support channel and one person who knows your set-up. That is the part of the service Sharjah clients mention most when they renew.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I visit your office in Sharjah before I sign up?
Yes. Our headquarters is at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, next to University City, and we take meetings Saturday to Thursday from 09:00 to 18:00 Gulf time. Message us on WhatsApp or use the contact page to book a slot, and bring your current hosting, email and phone invoices for review on the spot.
Can I keep my Sharjah 06 number when I move to 3CX?
Yes. The 06 number stays with the licensed operator that issued it, because VoIP in the UAE is provided only by licensees. We connect that operator’s SIP trunk to your 3CX system, in your office or in our cloud, and we can add a UAE 800 toll-free number so customers across the country call you free of charge.
Will my website data stay inside the UAE?
If you choose a Dubai Hosting plan or a managed VPS in the UAE, yes: the server is in Dubai. Our standard shared and WordPress plans are served from Europe, which suits a brochure site with customers abroad. We help Sharjah companies decide by looking at what the site stores and whether a client or regulator asks where data lives.
Do you come on site to industrial areas and free zones in Sharjah?
Yes, Saturday to Thursday during office hours. We come to factories, warehouses and free-zone offices across Sharjah to look at the server room, the internet line and the phone wiring before recommending anything; the drive from SRTIP is short. After set-up, almost everything is handled remotely around the clock, and we return for cut-overs.
