Web Hosting, Business Email and 3CX in Abu Dhabi: Remote Setup, Same-Day Support

The search usually starts with a mailbox problem. A consultancy on Al Reem Island has outgrown the free addresses that came with its website host. A contractor in Mussafah needs name@company.ae on every employee’s phone before a tender submission. A clinic in Khalifa City wants Google Workspace but would rather pay in dirhams and talk to someone in the UAE when something breaks. They type “email hosting Abu Dhabi” and find global resellers and agencies that do not answer the phone. This page explains plainly how we serve Abu Dhabi companies from Sharjah and Dubai, and where the limits are.

Quick Answer

We provide business email, web hosting and 3CX phone systems to companies in Abu Dhabi, and we do it remotely: we have no office in the capital, but everything we sell (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoho Mail, cPanel hosting, cloud 3CX) is configured, migrated and supported online from our Sharjah headquarters and Dubai branch, with 24/7 support in Arabic and English. Email is the most common request from Abu Dhabi, so start with our business email service; hosting and phones follow the same process. Local 02 numbers for 3CX come from the UAE’s licensed operators and we connect them. On-site visits are arranged on request for 3CX hardware. Prices are on the portal in AED.

How we serve Abu Dhabi

No office in Abu Dhabi, and we say so. BIGBANG ITS is headquartered at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park with a branch in Business Bay, Dubai. We have served Abu Dhabi clients from those two locations for years without a local desk, because email tenants, DNS records, hosting accounts and cloud phone systems are built and maintained over the internet. The engineer sits in Sharjah; the mailboxes are in Abu Dhabi.

What “same-day” means in practice. For a new email tenant, hosting account or cloud 3CX instance, setup starts the day the order is confirmed and we have access to your domain’s DNS. Mailbox migrations run outside your working hours, usually overnight or on a Friday, so staff open Outlook or Gmail the next morning with their old mail in place. Support is 24/7 by ticket, phone (+971 4 378 2255) and WhatsApp, in Arabic and English.

When we do come to you. Two things justify a visit: installing 3CX desk phones, gateways or an on-premise 3CX appliance in your office, and a first meeting for larger rollouts where the client prefers to sign in person. Both are arranged on request, with an engineer travelling from Dubai. Most Abu Dhabi clients never need one.

What Abu Dhabi clients ask that others do not. Government-linked entities, their contractors and clinics ask early where data is stored. We answer with the location of each service (UAE, Germany or the USA for hosting; the vendor’s regions for Microsoft and Google) so the client can check it against their obligations under the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, in force since 2 January 2022.

Business email in Abu Dhabi

This is what most Abu Dhabi searchers want, so it comes first. We sell, set up and support three platforms; the choice usually depends on which tools your staff already use.

Google Workspace. The usual choice for consultancies, training centres, clinics and anyone who lives in Gmail and Google Drive. Google’s pricing page lists Business Starter with 30 GB of pooled storage per user, Business Standard with 2 TB and Business Plus with 5 TB, and caps the Business plans at 300 users (Google Workspace pricing). Our Google business email pricing guide explains the plans in dirham terms; the current price is on the portal.

Microsoft 365. The usual choice where the office runs on Outlook, Teams and Excel, which in our experience covers most Abu Dhabi contractors, engineering firms and anyone working alongside government departments. We license the Business plans, set up the tenant, domain and security defaults (multi-factor authentication, anti-phishing rules, retention) and hand over an admin account that belongs to you.

Zoho Mail. For small teams that need professional addresses at a low per-user cost without the collaboration suite; we see it chosen by trading companies and start-ups in their first year.

Migration from your current mailboxes. Most Abu Dhabi clients arrive with email on a cPanel server, an old Exchange box or another provider’s IMAP. Our email migration service copies mail, folders, contacts and calendars into the new platform, switches the MX records at an agreed time and keeps the old mailboxes readable until every user has logged in.

SPF, DKIM and DMARC. A tenant is only half done if the domain’s authentication records are missing; mail to Gmail and Microsoft recipients then lands in spam or bounces. We publish SPF, DKIM and a DMARC policy for every domain we set up and check them after the switch; our SPF, DKIM and DMARC explainer covers what they do.

Why buy through us rather than directly. AED billing on one invoice, a tenant configured by people who do this weekly, and a UAE support line that picks up when a mailbox stops syncing at 07:30 on a Sunday. The licences are the vendor’s standard licences and the tenant is yours.

Web hosting for Abu Dhabi businesses

Hosting is usually the second request from the same company. Our hosting services are Linux cPanel plans with LiteSpeed caching, daily backups and Imunify360 malware scanning, plus Windows shared hosting for ASP.NET and MSSQL, managed cloud VPS, and Dubai Hosting plans served from a Dubai data centre.

Which plan for which Abu Dhabi business. A brochure site for an engineering consultancy, a law firm or a Mussafah workshop fits shared cPanel hosting. A content-heavy site (a school, a clinic with a booking page, a brokerage on Saadiyat or Yas) fits managed WordPress hosting, where we keep core, plugins and PHP current and the cache tuned. Custom applications and ERP front-ends belong on a managed VPS, and an inherited ASP.NET site stays on Windows hosting rather than being rewritten.

Dubai data centre or Europe. Abu Dhabi clients ask this more than anyone else, usually because a government or semi-government customer asked them first. If your contract requires the site and its database to stay in the UAE, choose the Dubai data centre plans; latency from Abu Dhabi offices is also lowest there. If your audience is international or you want more resources per dirham, our Germany-hosted plans are the default. We will tell you which one you actually need.

Typical Abu Dhabi client What we usually recommend Where it is served from
Consultancy, law firm, trading company with a brochure site Shared Linux cPanel hosting Germany by default; Dubai on request
Clinic, school, training centre, brokerage with frequent content changes Managed WordPress hosting Germany or Dubai
Contractor or supplier serving government entities with data-residency clauses Dubai Hosting plan or Dubai VPS Dubai data centre
Company with a custom web app, portal or ERP front-end Managed cloud VPS UAE, Germany or USA
Company with an existing ASP.NET / MSSQL site Windows shared hosting Germany

Domains. Most Abu Dhabi clients want .ae alongside .com. We register both, keep the DNS for email and hosting in one place, and make sure the domain is in your company’s name, not a former developer’s.

3CX phone system in Abu Dhabi

The third request, and the one most likely to involve a visit. We are a 3CX official partner for licensing, hosting, SIP trunks and numbers; the 3CX PBX service runs as a cloud instance or on your own hardware.

Local 02 numbers. Abu Dhabi landline numbers begin with 02, Dubai with 04 and Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain with 06, all under +971 (UAE numbering plan). An Abu Dhabi business keeps its 02 number when it moves to 3CX. VoIP is a regulated telecommunications service in the UAE requiring a licence under the Telecom Law (TDRA VoIP FAQ), so the 02 number and its SIP trunk are issued by a licensed UAE operator in your company’s name; we handle the order, then register the trunk in 3CX and route the DID numbers to your queues and extensions as the 3CX SIP trunk guide describes.

800 toll-free numbers. UAE toll-free numbers use the 800 prefix with no area code, and we provide them for UAE clients directly. Numbers in other countries (a UK or Saudi presence, say) are provisioned after the legal-document review the issuing country requires. Our UAE business phone numbers guide covers the differences between 02, 04 and 800 numbers and how each reaches 3CX.

Cloud or on-premise. Cloud 3CX needs no visit: we host the instance, you install the 3CX app on phones and laptops, and desk phones provision themselves over the internet. On-premise 3CX, which some Abu Dhabi entities prefer for policy reasons, runs on an appliance in your office; that installation and any desk phone cabling is where we send an engineer from Dubai by appointment.

What a typical Abu Dhabi setup looks like

Two anonymised examples, without names or figures.

An engineering consultancy in Mussafah. They arrived with staff mailboxes on a cheap cPanel host, a WordPress site not updated in years, and desk phones tied to an aging PBX. We moved email to Microsoft 365 over a weekend, preserving years of project correspondence, and published SPF, DKIM and DMARC so tender emails stopped landing in clients’ junk folders. The website moved to managed WordPress hosting. Their existing 02 number became a SIP trunk into a cloud 3CX instance; the only visit was to connect the new desk phones.

A clinic in Khalifa City. The practice wanted Google Workspace because the doctors already used Google Calendar, a booking website, and a number patients could call free of charge. We set up Workspace with shared calendars, hosted the booking site on a Dubai Hosting plan because the clinic’s compliance adviser wanted the data in the UAE, and added an 800 number routed into a cloud 3CX queue with an Arabic and English greeting. No visit was needed; the reception desk phone shipped pre-configured.

Prices and billing

No prices on this page, by design. Licences and plans change, and we would rather you see the current price on the portal than a stale number here: business email, web hosting and cloud PBX.

Dirhams, and other currencies. The portal shows prices in AED, USD, SAR, EGP, EUR and GBP with a currency selector; Abu Dhabi clients almost always invoice in AED. We accept all currencies.

Price lock. Prices are locked for 36 months from purchase, with 30 days’ notice before any increase, which matters when you budget annually for a government contract. Partial refunds apply to selected services, and our uptime commitment is 99.99%.

One invoice. Email, hosting, domains and 3CX sit on one portal account with one support desk, which is why Abu Dhabi clients consolidate with us even when they started with a single mailbox.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have an office in Abu Dhabi?

No. Our headquarters is at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park and our branch is in Business Bay, Dubai. Email, hosting and cloud 3CX are set up and supported remotely for Abu Dhabi clients, and we arrange on-site visits by appointment when 3CX desk phones, gateways or an on-premise appliance need installing in your office.

Can I keep my Abu Dhabi 02 number when I move to 3CX?

Yes. The 02 number stays with the licensed UAE operator that issued it, in your company’s name, and it reaches 3CX as a SIP trunk. We coordinate the order with the operator, register the trunk in 3CX and route the number to your queues and extensions. We can also add an 800 toll-free number for customer lines.

Is Google Workspace available in Abu Dhabi and can I pay in dirhams?

Yes on both counts. Google Workspace works anywhere in the UAE; what we add is licensing billed in AED on our portal, a tenant configured with your domain, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, migration of your existing mail, and UAE-based support. Google lists the plan limits on its pricing page, and our guide explains them in dirham terms.

Can my website and data stay in the UAE?

Yes. Choose a Dubai Hosting plan or a Dubai VPS and the site, its database and its backups are served from a Dubai data centre, which satisfies the data-residency clauses Abu Dhabi government-linked customers often include. For Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace the mailbox region is set by the vendor, and we document it for your compliance adviser.
