Maydan Al-Bashayer is an Android app for camel racing in the Sultanate of Oman, where racing is both a living heritage and an economic activity. We built the app around the race programme: a calendar of meetings and their results, covering both race formats — the 500-metre “ardha” and the distance and marathon races whose length is set by the camels’ age category.
